Following the tragic events from the Las Vegas mass shooting and the other sad disasters around the world, Ellen DeGeneres doesn’t want people to give up hope.
“I don't know about you but I feel sad, I feel anxious, I feel helpless and it's very easy to lose hope,” she told her audience. “But we cannot do that.”
I always say there's a lot more good in the world than there is bad, and I continue to believe that. And that is what we have to focus on.
Ellen says while it’s hard to wake up surrounded by negativity, she took the time to use her show and highlight the everyday heroes who have helped make the world a better place.
