With Valentine's Day just around the corner, the latest piece of research around avocados may come as welcome news!
Some research by UK nutritionist and relationship expert Lianne Young suggests that eating avocados may make you a better lover.
‘They’re loaded with minerals, monounsaturated fats which help protect the heart and are full of vitamin B6" which she believes helps to keep your energy and overall performance up during 'special time'.
She goes on to add that ‘avocados are also a source of omega 3' which will help to boost your mood and make you feel even more eager to spend time with your partner this Valentine' Day.
So while they may be expensive, it sounds like the avocado might be worth it in more ways than one!
