Disney are hiring professional princesses and princes to work on their cruises

omg 13/08/2018

Yes, this is real. Disney have just advertised a new job opening online, recruiting for male and female character performers, AKA all your favourite princesses, princes and villians, for their Disney Cruise Liners.

"Performers appear as fully costumed Disney characters in our mainstage musical theatre productions, meet and greets, events and production numbers on board our fleets" the job ad states. Sounds ideal!

But don't hand in your notice JUST yet. There are some pretty specific criteria that you need to meet first:

Women have to be either 142-152cm, 155-160cm or 165-173cm tall, and men have to be either 165-173cm or 180-188cm and have a 'youthful' appearance. You also have to be over the age of 18.

Auditions are being held at Danceworks in London on Monday 10th September, so you might want to start getting those travel plans together if you meet all the criteria!

You can check out the full job details here.
