A photographer has shared the incredible photo she took after a family had their first successful IVF treatment.
The photo features the newborn baby surrounded by every needle used on the mum over the course of her IVF.
"This is the first time I have been asked to do a photo like this!" the photographer wrote on her Facebook page.
"I was honored and wanted to create something special!
Mom said, '4 years, 7 attempts, 3 miscarriages and 1,616 shots.'"
People have been quick to express their love of the photo, it has already been shared tens of thousands of times online.
"Thank you for sharing and being so creative. Along with mom and baby, you have created a master piece." one person wrote.
"This photo shows so much beauty and strength" added another.
One woman even said she "never thought hypodermic needles were beautiful until now."
When someone else asked what all of the needles were from, the photographer explained that they were "all of the injections she had to take in order to get pregnant and successfully carry the baby to full term!"
What a truly special way to celebrate the birth of their new child and to remember the tough times they've been through before.
