It's the news Disney fans and kids all over the world have been waiting for (not so much their parents!) - Disney has confirmed the release date for the sequel to Frozen.

Frozen 2 is set to be released 22nd November 2019. And while a whole year may seem like a long wait, Frozen was released in 2013. So one more year surely won't hurt!

When Frozen was released, people worldwide were obsessed with the toe-tappingly, addictive songs Let It Go and Love Is An Open Door. They loved cheeky Olaf's witty comments, how cute baby Sven was and Elsa's epic transformation.

The film made upwards of $1.3 billion worldwide in 2013 and the sequel is expected to top this.

Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad will be returning as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, but not much has been mentioned about Jonathan Groff, who voiced Kristoff returning.

Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood and This Is Us star, Sterling K. Brown, are reportedly in talks to join the sequel, which means we could be treated to a few new characters.
