A 28-year-old CEO from Melbourne is looking for a personal assistant. But something about the way he advertised the role has had people raising their eyebrows, with one person taking to social media to claim the job ad "sounds like a PA for Christian Grey".
The advertisement gave a pretty alarming insight into the world of the person you'd be assisting.
Sold as the "most challenging and the most rewarding position you’ve ever had", the gig seems more like that of an underpaid lackey than an assistant and offers $45k-$65k based on experience. The job also promises that you won't have a lot of "me time".
The job ad has since been removed from SEEK Australia - who acknowledged it was written "colourfully".
“If you want to clock in and clock out of your job – this isn’t for you. Expect after hours and weekend calls from time to time." the ad stats.
It then continues by saying, “Life doesn’t stop when the work day does – high performers work until their tasks are done, NOT just until the clock runs out.”
The job ad then delves into what kind of qualities one must possess to be eligible for the role.
