New cheap cleaning hack has mums excited everywhere

A $5 cleaning hack is fast becoming one of the top hacks for mums who love a clean home. Many mums have praised the hack as coming into their lives at the best time, thanks to the Marie Kondo era where they are all about decluttering and cleaning their home.

The hack is perfect for stubborn stains, odours, and to give old items new life.

The hack is simple, it's denture cleaner.

The hack originated from a Facebook group, Mums Who Clean, where a woman shared her before and after photos of her couch, which she had scrubbed with a Polident solution.

"Our sofa is about five or six years old and this is the first time we’ve cleaned it." she wrote.

"It has come out great."

The woman went on to explain that she had used a few Polident tablets with warm water in a spray bottle, left it to soak in on the couch for about five minutes, and then giving it a good scrub with a dishwashing brush.

She then used a towel to absorb the dirty water from the couch - and had to repeat this step until the towel came back clean.

Another woman used Polident to successfully remove grime from her bathroom floor.

Other mums tried out the hack using other denture cleaning brands rather than the Polident.

"Any denture cleaner will work, I use the Aldi brand" said one woman. She revealed she wanted to try the hack as it was a better price for the amount she got.

The results were still incredible, with her Converse going from a slightly yellowish colour to bright, white and almost brand new.
