If you grew up between 1986 and 2000, then you are bound to of heard of 'The Baby-Sitters Club'.
The iconic series of novels written by Ann M. Martin, has had hundreds of different books in print, and for a long time the books disappeared with our childhood.
But now, Netflix is bringing nostalgia back by announcing that it is bringing The Baby-Sitters Club to our screens!
Kristy Thomas, Mary Anne Spier, Claudia Kishi, Stacey McGill, and Dawn Schafer will be coming to life on our TVs.
The new series has been described as a contemporary live action series and just like the books, will follow the storyline of the strong friendship between the girls and of course their babysitting adventures.
Ann M. Martin is stoked about the news and has released a statement saying, "I'm amazed that there are so many passionate fans of The Baby-Sitters Club after all these years, and I'm honoured to continue to hear from readers—now grown, who have become writers, editors, teachers, librarians, filmmakers—who say that they see a reflection of themselves in the characters of Kristy and her friends. So I'm very excited about the forthcoming series on Netflix, which I hope will inspire a new generation of readers and leaders everywhere.”
