Despite this new generation of babies being born not being as immersed in Harry Potter as the generations before them, parents are still introducing the Potterverse to their kids - and one set of new parents did not waste one second in getting their newborn accquainted with the wizarding world.
The US parents love Harry Potter a lot. Their first Halloween they spent together saw them dressed as Harry & Hermione, and now they are passing on their love of the films and books to their sons.
When their second son Theodore was born, they decided to recreate the classic Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets scene by turning little Theodore into a mandrake.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, the mum said: "Our photographer Kelsey tagged me in a mandrake picture on Facebook and immediately the wheels started turning," Katherine told BuzzFeed of planning the shoot. "I knew it was key that Theodore be crying for the shot. Luckily, babies tend to do that."
The mandrake themed Harry Potter newborn shoot wasn't their first rodeo. When their eldest son Sebastian was born, they dressed him up as a baby Harry Potter and took his photos in a graveyard.
