If you're one of those people who struggle to pull themselves out of bed in the morning, especially on those days when you have to head into work, we have some good news!
A study titled ‘Why Night Owls Are More Intelligent’ has reportedly proved that those few saying they struggle to get out of bed are smarter.
The study goes on to explain that those who have evolved to sleep despite the interruption of an alarm ( i.e. waking up, hitting snooze, and going back to sleep), have been able to adapt to get what their body really needs.
It has also proved that they likely have better problem solving skills, be more creative and independent.
Further to this, The University of Southhampton found that those who go to bed after 11pm and wake up at 8am are generally happier in life and earn more money than those who don’t.
So next time you hit that snooze button, don't feel so bad! It just means you are smarter than most.
