We all know the fashion trends of decades gone by have a way of repeating themselves - and it's fair to say the 90s and early 2000s are in again in a major way right now.
So much so, that high-end luxury fashion house Gucci is jumping on board with a new line of what they call 'caged rubber sandals', but what we know as jellies.
Yes, jellies! One of the most coveted footwear items of the 90s - whether they were sparkly, neon, or just classic clear. We can still remember picking out the bark from the school playground that got stuck in all the gaps, but it was SO worth it.
It's not the first time we've seen a return of the jelly - they were a classic for a reason, after all - but it might be the first time we've been asked to pay nearly $800 for a pair.
Granted, the high fashion version of the iconic sandal does feature Guccis' 'double G' hardware that certainly didn't feature back in the day, but otherwise, they're totally the same.
At least Gucci has the good grace to credit the fashion pioneers of the 90s, describing their footwear as "recalling playful styles from the '90s".
Not all 90s kids were pleased about the news though, with one Twitter user saying Gucci was "capitalising off people's childhoods".
"Absolutely not! They used to be like 5 dollars not even…" they wrote.
"So, we all just gonna forget the dirty tan lines these left all over our little feet back in the day and rush out to pay half a bill for these when they only cost 60 cents to even make?" asked another.
A few people commented that they could still remember the particular smell of the plastic jellies were made with, and at those prices, we think we'll just stick with the memories, thanks.
