David Bowie has died at age 69 after following a long and secretive battle with cancer. His death has given a whole new meaning to his latest song's opening lyrics.
"Look up here, I'm in heaven. I've got scars that can't be seen."
And as you listen to the songs lyrics and watch the music video, it seems that the whole song of 'Lazarus' is pointing to his death. For part of the video he is lying blindfolded in a hospital bed.
"Look up here man, I'm in danger," he sings. "I've got nothing left to lose."
Leave it to Bowie to not only write his own epitaph, but sing it and make a video of it too. Beautiful man. RIP https://t.co/kfNRThqt7W
