Classmates raise money to surprise fellow student with brand new shoes

For a couple of months, special needs student J.R. Gilbert wore shoes that were two sizes too small for him.
The shoes had belonged to his grandfather, who had recently passed away - and he had been wearing them ever since.
His classmates noticed, and in an effort to get good shoes that would fit him, they all came together to organise a special surprise, raising $200 to buy their friend two new pairs of sneakers. Plus, they were his favourite kind, and favourite colour.
The look on his face was priceless!
