Pink hits back at Lady Gaga's "copied" Super Bowl performance criticism

Pink is having her say after claims and criticisms accused Lady Gaga of "copying" Pink's acrobatics routine.
Following Lady Gaga's incredible Super Bowl performance over the long weekend, which saw the singer jump off the stadium in a wire harness then do flips across the stage to her medley of hits, fans couldn't help but critique Lady Gaga's wire act as a "copy" of Pink's famous aerial acrobatics.
"Yo lady Gaga stole pink's whole acrobatic routine lmao," said one person on Twitter, while another commented "Loved Gaga's songs, but she should leave the aerial stuff to @Pink."
Pink however didn't stand for the backlash and criticism, so she went straight to Instagram to post her statement.
“For the record: Let’s squash this before it even has a chance to be a thing… Lady Gaga killed it yesterday. Her voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point, choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness, all in front of millions and millions of people,” she wrote. “Let’s celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place. Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn’t! Cirque and Peter pan been in the air for years!”
Pink then went on to say that people should focus their efforts on things that matter. See her full statement below.
