Ed Sheeran shares behind-the-scenes clips of his surprise performance at 50 Cent's London show

"I'm gonna walk on stage and go, 'Who likes In Da Club? Here's Shape of You.'"

Ed Sheeran surprised fans at 50 Cent's concert in London on Tuesday night with an unannounced performance.

The In Da Club rapper was performing at London's O2 Arena as part of The Final Lap tour when the British singer-songwriter appeared on stage.

Video footage from the concert shows a digital screen being lowered down to the stage bearing the message: "There is a monster in this box." The screen was subsequently lifted to reveal Ed, who launched into his 2017 smash hit Shape of You.

50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, shared pictures of him and Ed backstage at the arena on Instagram with the caption, "My man came through for me tonight, BOOM... LONDON went crazy! It don't get bigger than this."

He added, "@teddysphotos Had the o2 going crazy good times, I had a ball."

The Perfect singer, 32, documented the experience via videos on his Instagram Stories. In the first clip, he joked, "50 Cent has invited me to the O2 to sing Shape of You. I'm gonna walk on stage and go, 'Who likes In Da Club? Here's Shape of You.'"

He also shared videos of him singing along to the rapper's track 21 Questions backstage before his appearance and enjoying the rest of the show with his friends from a private box in the auditorium afterwards.

Ed previously worked with 50 Cent and Eminem on the song, Remember the Name, which appeared on his 2019 album, No.6 Collaborations Project.
