Ed Sheeran tweets advice to X Factor NZ's Joe Irvine


One of the biggest names in pop music right now, Ed Sheeran, directed tweeted an X Factor NZ contestant after news of judges bullying him on the show gained worldwide attention.
The X Factor NZ contestant Joe Irvine received a tweet from the UK singer who shared some words of support after his harsh critique by former judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon was shared overseas.

Singer Ellie Goulding has also tweeted about X Factor NZ;
She also tweeted "You sort of have to be, you know, vaguely relevant to have your style stolen just saying", in reference to Willy Moon's suits, but quickly deleted the tweet. 
Meanwhile no official announcement has been made on who the new judges for The X Factor NZ will be following Natalia Kills and Willy Moon's axing from the show. Popular favourites for the role appear to be in favour of singers Ginny Blackmore, Anika Moa, Opshop singer Jason Kerrison, Blindspott and I Am Giant drummer Shelton Woolright, or X Factor NZ alumni Benny Tipene.
