Delicious bunny milkshakes for the Easter break

These quick-to-make Easter bunny milkshakes will go down a treat with the kids this long weekend!
14 April 2022 12:00PM

There is going to be alot of chocolate around the country this long weekend, so why not put some of those bunnies to good use with this simple recipe…

Ingredients:

  • 2 hollow chocolate bunnies (with foil intact)

  • 2 cups reduced-fat milk

  • 2 large scoops strawberry frozen yoghurt or icecream

  • 250g strawberries, hulled, halved

  • Whipped cream

  • 100s & 1000s

Directions:

  • Blend milk, frozen yoghurt and strawberries until smooth.

  • To prepare the bunnies, peel a little foil away from the top of each and use a clean, hot sharp knife to remove the top of the bunny ears (be sure to do this on an angle!)

  • Fill each chocolate bunny with your milkshake and decorate with whipped cream and 100’s and 1000’s.

  • Serve immediately!

You can switch out the milkshake for your favourite flavour, but we think the strawberry-choc mix is iconic.

If you’re anything like us, you’ll have plenty of choc bunnies laying around as the long weekend rolls though so give it a go!
