Animates Blenheim, School Holiday Activities - Thursday 19 July - Animates Blenheim, Looking for something free to keep the kids entertained these school holidays? Animates has you covered! These School Holidays Animates will be running four activity sessions where your children can learn everything there is to know about fantastic fish and rocking reptiles. Vicki Lee Singing the Songs of Vera Lynn - 2:00pm, Sunday 29 July - Picton Little Theatre, Kiwi musician Vicki Lee meets the "Forces' Sweetheart" Vera Lynn, a British wartime-era singer, in Sussex. Vicki tours New Zealand performing Lynn's songs and collecting the stories audience members associate with them. Tickets available from Take Note (Picton) or Alyssums (Blenheim).

Grease – A Combined Colleges Production - 7:30pm, Tuesday 31 July - Saturday 4 August - ASB Theatre Marlborough, Marlborough Girls and Marlborough Boys college present a combined senior production of Grease. Here is Rydell High’s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding “Burger Palace Boys” and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking “Pink Ladies” in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950’s in this rollicking musical. A show for all ages.

Cycle Chic Film Tour - 7:00pm, Thursday 2 August - Marlborough Convention Centre, Prepare to be inspired!! Their screening of the Cycle Chic Film Tour is at the Marlborough Convention Centre in Blenheim so come on down earlier and mix and mingle before moving through to your seats at 7:00pm. More Info

Great Bayleys Quiz Night and Auction - 7:00pm, Friday 3 August - Springlands School, Join them for a fun-filled evening at The Great Bayleys Quiz Night and Auction 2018! A tasty supper kindly provided by Watery Mouth Cafe. Eftpos facilities will be available to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Tour De Gravel - 9:00am - 4:00pm, Saturday 4 August - Wither Hills Mountain Bike Park, 121km total, one bike for the entire event. The course takes in the Redwood and Taylor Passes south of Blenheim as well as some of the backroads scenic beauty of the Awatere valley. Race or ride, the choice is yours. More Info

Marlborough Duathlon Series - 10:00am, Sunday 5 August - Wither Hills Farm Park, These are no pressure events! If you are a beginner, then do not fear, you are not alone! You can run, walk, crawl or grovel your way around the run course, and as long as you have a safe bike and a helmet you're good to go. More Info

Tasman Mako vs Wellington Lions Pre-season Match - 12:30pm, Thursday 9 August - Renwick Recreation Reserve, Tasman Rugby and the Renwick Rugby Club are thrilled to host the Mitre 10 Cup Pre-season match between the Tasman Mako and Wellington Lions. Saturdays - Cyclocross/Mountainbike Group Ride. Assemble at the back of BIkefit, 24 Market St at 2pm, Course varies with 50 to 70km distance.

Sundays - Marlborough Farmers Market, A&P Showgrounds, 9am - midday rain or shine.
