Get Your Skates On - Thursday 13 December - Sunday 16 December - Liz Davidson Place, After its popularity last year, Marlborough District Council are bringing the ice rink back to town - the perfect way to kick-start the Christmas school holidays and celebrate the festive season (without the cold)! Session Times

Christmas Festival - 5:00pm - 9:00pm, Thursday 13 December - Blenheim CBD, An awesome line up of live music on the stage including local talent Maxine Kemp and travelling across the water is the Hipnotics from Wellington bringing you some of your favorite Christmas tunes to get you in the holiday spirit. There will be bouncy castles on for the kids, face painting, street entertainment and fantastic stage performance The White Christmas Show.

Summer Muster Fun Day - 10:00am - 3:00pm, Saturday 15 December - Port Marlborough Pavilion, Endeavour Park, A great, big, fun, family day for all! Bouncy Castles, Water Slides, Sports Demonstrations, PCT Obstacle Course, Food, Coffee Cart, Mr Whippy and more!

Eastern States Speedway Christmas Meeting - 6:00pm, Saturday 15 December - Eastern States Speedway, The 5th meeting of their 2018/19 season. This is what will be on, Christmas Meeting, Remembrance Championships, Marlborough Saloon Camps, Sidecars. More Info

Stocking Filler Market - 9:00am - 1:00pm - Saturday 22 December - Havelock Town Hall, Havelock Lions last Market for 2018 and it will be one of the best ones. Buy your Christmas tree at the Market at a very reasonable price. Also books for holiday reading, plants, clothing, toys, bric and brac, craft work and more.

Rapaura Tennis Club New Year Doubles Tournament - 9:30am, Fri 28 Dec - Sun 30 Dec - Rapaura Tennis Club, There will be three divisions: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Social Mixed Doubles for players 14 years and over at the time of the tournament. This tournament is held in a Memorial Park Reserve in a rural setting with six magnificent grass courts.

Ignite - 7:00pm - 12:00am, Monday 31 December - Picton Foreshore, A great way to bring in the new year with a children’s entertainment area (7pm until 10pm), including inflatables, circus style workshops face painting, balloon twisting as wells as street entertainment. The evening culminates in a fabulous Fireworks display at midnight to music!

King & Queen of The Withers - 7:00am, Saturday 5 January - Rifle Range Carpark, Run or walk or both this popular 10k hill race in the Wither Hills farm park, Blenheim. Great views over the town across to Taylor Pass and a challenging but fun course attracts participants of all abilities, from first timers giving it a go to some of New Zealand’s top runners. Cape Campbell Lighthouse Walk - Sunday 6 January - Horton Park, Join the Marlborough Tramping Club in walking from Marfells Beach to Cape Campbell. This is a 14km return beach walk and suitable for families. Bring lunch and snacks, drinking water, waterproof/windproof jacket, walking shoes or boots.

Picton Maritime Festival Trust - 11:00am - 11:00pm, Saturday 19 January - Picton Foreshore, A fun family free to enter event on the stunning Picton Foreshore. Plenty of activity to keep you entertained topped off by a fireworks display at 10pm

Beach Fest - Youth Music Festival - 7:00pm - 10:00pm, Saturday 26 January - Shelly Beach, Picton, Youth Music Festival for local young talent. Entry $5 for 13-24 year olds. Performances by young people right here in Marlborough, special performances by Bcre8ve, night swimming, volleyball, food vendors, fire pits and much more!

Saturdays - Artisan Market, 10.30am till 2.30pm at the Wynen Street Car Park Blenheim (if wet it'll be on at the Parking Building Alfred Street), 

Saturdays - Cyclocross/Mountainbike Group Ride. Assemble at the back of BIkefit, 24 Market St at 2pm, Course varies with 50 to 70km distance.

Sundays - Marlborough Farmers Market, A&P Showgrounds, 9am - midday rain or shine.

Mondays - Redwoodtown Plunket Playgroup: 10am-12pm, 21 Bythell St. Gold coin donation and morning tea provided. Children 0-5yrs welcome Sam 021701413.
