Hilary Barry is the kind of woman a lot of us aspire to be like. She's funny, charismatic, beautiful and loves her family. She is also not afraid to stand up for herself and put people in their place if they insult or abuse her.
And this time was no different.
The presenter took to Twitter to voice her opinions around a controversial NZ news article. The article called Clarke Gayford, partner of our prime minister Jacinda Ardern, a babysitter. Hilary, obviously slightly taken a back by the headline, clarified their claims in a tweet stating, "Dads parent. They don't babysit."
A Twitter troll responded to Hilary's tweet with a comment that had absolutely no relation to what Hilary had said and was simply a keyboard warrior doing a personal attack on her with a tweet full of less than impressive language.
Hilary Barry took the personal attack on the chin and replied to the internet troll with the mantra 'kill 'em with kindness'.
