Cadbury owners reveal they are also shrinking lolly packets

NZ 12/02/2019

In another blow to Kiwi's who love sweet treats, the people who own Cadbury have announced they will be shrinking the size of lolly packets around New Zealand too.

This news comes hot the heels of the revelation that they have reduced the Cadbury family block sizes due to increased costs.

The food giant, Mondelez, is cutting down the size of many popular Pascall packets of lollies including Jet Planes, Wine Gums, and Jubes. The products have been cut by 25 per cent - going from 240g packets to 180g packets.

The price of these lollies, despite the noticable size difference, will be remaining much the same with the price said to drop from $3.29 to $2.79.

Pascall hasn't yet followed suit to that of Cadbury and announced the lolly packet reduction on its Facebook page.
