Remember the classic film 'Matilda'? The movie version of Roald Dahl's classic childrens book? Well, one of the stars of the film has said they'd be open to a sequel!
Actor Danny DeVito played the role of Matilda's father in the movie and has said that he'd be keen to reprise his role.
"I always wanted to do Matilda 2, but when the kid was still a kid," DeVito said in a recent interview.
"But that was like 20 years ago, 25 years ago. Maybe Matilda has a kid and we can do something that, I don't know."
The girl who played Matilda back in 1996, Mara Wilson, is now 32 - so she's probably a bit too old to play the character now!
Fans hoping to see Matilda back on screen won't have to wait too long though. Last year Netflix announced a deal which allows them to turn many of Dahl's classic stories into TV shows for their streaming service. However, it's not yet known if any of the original characters will return.
"We have great creative ambition to reimagine the journeys of so many treasured Dahl characters in fresh, contemporary ways with the highest quality animation and production values." a Netflix spokesperson said.
Hopefully these reimagined versions of these stories hit screens sometime soon!
