Queen's biopic Bohemian Rhapsody was a global phenomenon.
The film, starring Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury, was a huge cinematic success and earned the film crew, actors and Queen many awards and acolades.
So last year when rumours swirled that a sequel was in the works, we were oh so excited!
But now, Queen's drummer Roger Taylor has revealed that there have now been further discussions around a sequel, and the one main reason as to what's stopping them.
Speaking to Rolling Stone about the sequel, Roger said: "The movie was a great hit. We were delighted, obviously. But I think I wouldn’t want to be seen as cashing in again."
"I’d have to have a very, very good script and scenario to make that work. Right now, I can’t think of a way of doing a sequel.”
The 70-year-old drummer continued: "If somebody comes up with a genius plan... we’ll think about it."
Sounds like a glimmer of hope to us!
