Channing Tatum has expanded his extensive C.V to officially add 'childrens book author'!

While in lockdown, Channing revealed he decided to put pen to paper and write a children's book.

What's even sweeter is he decided to dedicate the book to his 7-year-old daughter Everly, who he shares with dancer and actress Jenna Dewan.

Channing Tatum announced his children’s book in an Instagram post saying:

"Guys, I don’t know about you but things got a little weird for me in quarantine. I ended up accidentally locking myself in my 7 year old daughter’s room. And I ended up finding my inner child. So this is what I created for my little girl. From what is, I guess, the little girl in me. Thanks for reading."

In the book’s dedication, obtained by People, Tatum wrote: "To Everly, the most brilliant magical being that I have ever known. You are my greatest teacher."

The book is titled The One and Only Sparkella and is a picture book, tells the story of a young girl named Ella, who gets teased for her love of sparkly things on her first day of school. But her dad encourages her to continue to wear glittery ribbons and disco-ball shoes. The result is a delightful tale that encourages kids to embrace their individuality - and celebrates the bond between father and daughter.

The book will officially be published on May 4, 2021 but is available for preorder now.
