One woman revealed the secret to her family-famous mashed spuds - and her recipe has now gone viral online.
This recipe is said to be delicious, although there are quite a few more steps than just throwing some potatos into a pot of boiling water.
First she begins by washing the potatos and rubbing them down with avocado oil, before halving and placing in a pot.
Then she boils them with one cup of water and uses chicken or beef broth to make up the rest, "depending on what you're going to serve your mashed potatos".
"So chicken broth, and then just a pinch - I don't measure - so a pinch of sea salt or Himalayan sea salt, but sea salt in there. And you boil them in that," she says, explaining: "This will lock in the flavour of your meat."
Once cooked, you can still add in other flavour boosters - she suggests adobo seasoning, salt, butter and milk - but the stock will give it a more decadent texture.
"It just makes them a lot more creamy," she concludes, adding: "You should be boiling your potatoes with some type of meat stock because you should be serving your potatoes with a meat."
