It’s official, Robert Pattinson has been named THE Most Beautiful Man in the World according to brand new scientific research.
New scientific reports claim that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is more handsome than Idris Elba, Henry Cavill and even Brad Pitt – according to the ‘Golden Ratio of Beauty.’
Every year reports come forward claiming which celebrities are more attractive than the rest, and they all seem to have some form of scientific backing.
Last year, The Daily Mail consulted a facial cosmetic surgeon to use a scientific equation called the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi to find out who the ‘Most Beautiful Woman in the World’ is. The results came in, and Gigi Hadid was graced with the title.
Now, the focus has been turned onto the men of Hollywood. Dr Julian De Silva has used the same scientific equation to decipher who the ‘Most Beautiful Man in the World’ is… and of course, it’s Robert Pattinson.
Robert got the top rating, meanwhile Henry Cavil came in second, Bradley Cooper in third and Brad Pitt at number four.
The Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi was used by artists and architects in the Renaissance period to determine beauty. To use it, the length and width of someone’s face is measured and the results are divided. The equation, apparently, is based on symmetry. It argues that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful someone is.
It’s safe to assume that this method of measurement should be taken with a pinch of salt, but we can’t argue that Rob Pattinson is up there on our list of most handsome celebs – unlike Prince William who was wrongfully crowned as ‘The Sexiest Bald Man’ earlier this year – which we will ACTIVELY dispute.
Robert Pattinson is a different story however… and we isn’t mad about it!
