Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday morning (09/09/22) that The Queen has passed away.
A rainbow was spotted over Buckingham Palace yesterday following a statement from the Palace:
"Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s Health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.
The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral"

The photo has been likened to the iconic silhouette of Queen Elizabeth II with one of her signature hats.
The photo has since gone viral with people commenting on how beautiful the symbolism is. There are a few commenters who weren't so convinced, calling it ‘a bit of a stretch’.
The 96-year-old Monarch reigned for seven decades, celebrating her Platinum Jubilee earlier this year. All of her children, along with Princes William and Harry, rushed to her estate at Balmoral Castle.
