‘Rumour Has It’ Adele and partner Rich Paul are engaged and plan on a summer wedding

So happy for the two of them!

Pop sensation Adele is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Rich Paul, with the two planning to get married in the summer.

Pop culture gossip site Deux Moi posted a quote from a “very reliable source” that can “confirm” the two are now fiances, and that they “are planning a summer wedding!”. It should be noted the Deux Moi say they only post rumours, not facts, but they have been known to be right in the past.

Paul and Adele were first spotted together in 2021 at an NBA Finals game and engagement rumours flared up just months later when the ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer was rocking a gold band on her ring finger.

ELLE magazine asked Adele about her engagement status in September of 2022.

“Well! Well. Well, I’m not married,” she replied. “I’m not married. I’m not married! I’m just in loooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.”

“I’m not engaged, I just love high-end jewellery, boy!” she added.

Adele has gushed about Rich Paul many times to the media, and him being an agent for some of the biggest names in sports, such as LeBron James, meant he was used to being in the spotlight, something that could not be said about Adele’s previous dating prospects.

"I did date before Rich, but they hated it. They'd find it stressful being out or seen with me, which meant that I guarded all of it beyond,” the ‘Easy on Me’ hitmaker told British Vogue.

“It never evolved because we were never experiencing things together. Whereas he's not frazzled by it at all. It feels like it's consistent and considerate enough that I don't care who knows."

Adele has been married once before, to entrepreneur Simon Konecki. The two have a child together and were married for two years before separating in 2019.
