This week Courtney Cox was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and who better to honour her than her on-screen and real-life besties?
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you would know that Courtney alongside Jenifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow on the ‘90s sitcom ‘Friends’.
Jennifer and Kudrow appeared at the ceremony to help pay tribute to Courtney and it was like watching Rachel, Monica and Phoebe all over again!
A TikTok clip posted by @aniston.jpg shows Jenifer and Lisa being absolutely chaotic while celebrating and honouring Courtney.
From joking about Courtney’s fame before ‘Friends’ to how she is exactly like her on-screen character, the three of them shared all the love and laughs needed for such an honour.
Jennifer and Lisa revealed that when they landed their roles on ‘Friends’ almost 30 years ago, they were terrified of meeting Courtney, who - at the time - was the most famous member of the cast.
Lisa added that Courtney’s attitude towards making sure the cast was connected is what led to the success of their relationship on and off the screen.
"That really set us up to become one of the closest, most loving and supportive casts in, I'll say, the history of television."
The two also mentioned Courtney’s major attention to detail - much like her ‘Friends’ character Monica.
Jennifer described it as “very intense.”
“You really want to hope that you don’t have any kind of like a stain or a spot on a wall or that a pillow is out of place or a hair or something that needs to be plucked,” she explained.
"I'm just saying thank God this star is straight!"
On a more serious note, Lisa said: “Courteney, we just want to say that we’re deeply, deeply proud to know you. You are the definition of a truly beautiful, talented and, what’s most important, a truly good and decent human being. Thank you for enriching our lives personally.”
Jennifer lastly added: “And as fans, we want to thank you for making us laugh. Watching you onscreen and just in life in general, you’re one of the funniest human beings on the planet Earth. Nothing makes me happier than a Courteney joke and always making us smile, and thank you for enriching our lives with your work. We are so proud of you. We love you. You’re sisters from another mister, and we love you.”
