Britney Spears breaks silence after allegedly getting slapped by Victor Wembanyama's security

Britney has taken to social media to share her side of the story.

Britney Spears has filed a police report after a pretty awful incident in Las Vegas, where she was allegedly slapped across the face by NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security.

According to reports from TMZ, Britney is said to have tapped Wembanyama on the back in a hotel lobby to grab a picture, and out of nowhere, his security guard backhanded her, knocking her to the ground and even her glasses flew off her face.

But wait, there are two sides to every story. Wembanyama told reporters that he didn't realise it was Britney who tapped him until hours later.

He claimed that she grabbed him from behind. Now, Britney has taken to social media to share her side of the story.

In her statement, Britney said that she wasn't prepared for what happened to her. She finds it embarrassing to share this story, but she believes it's important to talk about it and encourage public figures to set an example by treating everyone with respect.

She also emphasised that physical violence is a widespread problem, often hidden behind closed doors. She stands with all the victims and hopes to receive a public apology from the player, his security, or their organisation.

Britney expressed gratitude for the support she's receiving and thanked the Las Vegas Police Department and detectives for their assistance.

Even Britney's husband, Sam Asghari, spoke up about the incident on his Instagram story.

He firmly stated that he is “against violence in any form” and stressed that defending any woman, especially his wife, is non-negotiable. While he considered his reaction subdued given the circumstances, he hopes that the person responsible learns a lesson and changes their attitude towards women.
