Matthew Perry's fans and loved ones - including some very famous admirers - have been left "devastated" by his shocking death at age 54.

Meanwhile, Charlie Puth, a self-declared 'Friends' superfan, also paid tribute to the late actor during a gig in Melbourne.
He sat at his piano and started playing the sitcom's theme tune 'I'll Be There For You,' while the entire crowd joined in to belt the song for the star.
British pop rockers The 1975 also used the 'Friends' theme song to honour Matthew, playing it during the opening of their show in Wisconsin.
Many other heartfelt tributes have poured in from celebrities who knew and worked closely with Matthew.
Morgan Fairchild, who played Chandler's on-screen mother Nora Bing in 'Friends', shared her “heartbreak” at the loss of her “son”.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow mentioned the "magical summer" she and Matthew shared in 1993, when she and Matthew spent time together, “swimming in creeks, sharing beers, and kissing in a field of long grass”.
"He had shot the pilot of Friends but it had not aired yet. He was nervous, hoping his big break was just around the corner. It was," she shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).
The show's creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane as well as executive producer Kevin Bright shared their disbelief at the loss of their “brilliantly talented” and “funniest” friend.
In a joint statement, they said: "We will always cherish the joy, the light, the blinding intelligence he brought to every moment - not just to his work, but in life as well."

The official ‘Friends’ page shared the heartache Matthew’s fans are feeling worldwide: “We are devastated to learn of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to us all. Our heart goes out to his family, loved ones, and all of his fans.”
Outside Chandler Bing's apartment in NYC, fans continue to gather to leave bouquets and messages.
“You are so loved and will be missed for generations. Thank you for being our friend," one note on the sidewalk read.
Another referenced Chandler Bing’s iconic speaking pattern, writing: “Could we BE any more upset that you are gone?”
In a statement issued to People Magazine, Matthew’s family said they were "heartbroken", adding: "Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend."
They continued:" [His fans] meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”
