Tokomaru Bay resident Claudia Maaka has captured a video of the first waves arriving on the shores of the East Coast.
In the video, shared on Facebook by Manu Caddie, huge waves can be seen rolling toward the shore. Claudia has filmed the clip safely from a high vantage point.
