Cadbury Roses announce new flavour with the return of soft-centre creme favourites

Don't worry, Turkish Delight still remains unchanged.

It's not a gift-giving holiday if you aren't surprised with a box of assorted chocolates.  But one of the Kiwi classics, Cadbury Roses, will be offering something new in the box next holiday season.

A spokesperson for Cadbury New Zealand confirmed the improved Cadbury Roses will see the return of fan-favourite crème flavours Strawberry Crème, Orange Crème, and Peppermint Crème - as well as a new addition into the mix.

The brand new Passionfruit Delight flavour will also include the gooey centre, encased in Old Gold dark chocolate.

The changes come after chocolate addicts in 2018 were furious some nostalgic Roses flavours were tweaked or replaced by new White Raspberry and Vanilla Nougat. They had also reinvented the wrappers from the twist closures to individually sealed packets.

With the return of three classics and one new addition, it will see Hazelnut Creme Crisp, White Raspberry, Peppermint Crème Crunch, and Dark Mocha Nougat replaced.

But don't worry - Classic Milk, Hazelnut Swirl, Vanilla Nougat, Classic Caramel, Caramel Deluxe, and the always polarising Turkish Delight will still remain.

The new boxes, with a new packaging design, are set to hit store shelves later in September.
