An Auckland bakery is giving out loads of free croissants filled with KitKat's new cookie dough

How do we get our hands on one?

KitKat has revealed their new cookie dough chocolate bars are hitting NZ shelves this month and to celebrate they're teaming up with a Kiwi bakery to hand out chocy bar-filled treats next weekend.

DOMO bakery in Takapuna have created a cookie dough-filled croissant that would have cookie-monster droolling a puddle on the ground .

Famous for their creative twists on classic treats, is now the first-ever 'Breakery’, giving away 500 croissants on March 16th and 17th until they’re all  - good thing there’s a limit of 2 per person, cos I know someone who could down a fair few in one sitting.

If you can’t make it to the giveaway, they’ve shared that if you whisper the secret code “I need a break” in-store you’ll be able to dig your teeth into a free-limited edition croissant.

DOMO has also shared that you do need to be over 16 years old to get your sticky little fingers on a croissant - yeahhh, let us big kids have a treat!

Fern Castellanos, Nestlé's Head of Marketing said: “It’s great to give Kiwis what they have been asking for - the most requested KitKat Chunky flavour.”

DOMO bakery Head Baker Langdon Wang is equally buzzing over their new sweet treat, saying: “Creating our signature croissants with KitKat was a delight. The fluffy pastry has been filled with a house-made cream using KitKat Cookie Dough doused in decadent dark chocolate and sprinkled with the KitKat Chunky bar.”

The new chocolate bars will be landing on supermarket, dairy and petrol station shelves this week.
