Drax Project write about their risks in new single 'Toto'

"I want to bless the rains and dance away like Toto".

Lead singer and sax player Shaan had quit his job from an insurance company that same day when the band wrote their latest single 'Toto'.

Taken off their EP 'Noon', the song title (a reference to the band Toto and their hit song 'Africa') talks about taking a chance on the unknown future, despite losing the security of today.

Taking a risk has worked well for the four-piece Wellington band, who this year has opened for Ed Sheeran's Dunedin shows, and Camila Cabello's European tour. Later this year, the band are scheduled to perform in a massive Las Vegas festival alongside acts like Justin Timberlake and Fleetwood Mac.
