The Breakfast Club went out for a team lunch last week to celebrate Sam as she goes off on maternity leave.
Todd from our promotions department decided to get a quesadilla, delicious in theory…melted cheese, tender chicken… absolutely mouthwatering right?
Well there was something a little sneaky hiding in his tortilla-wrapped snack…

When you think of finding things in food your might would usually go to a stay hair but not this time, it was a full-out rubber band!
This was too much for our Todd so he sent it straight back to the kitchen much to the dismay of Lana and Adam who said “Push it to the side and keep eating”.
This got us thinking though if a rubber band could make it into a meal, then what other weird things have popped up in your food?
It turns out there were some very weird items…
Nicki was munching away on some pancakes when she found a whole bread clip in her stack.
Lana was still very adamant that she would’ve just picked it out and kept eating but Nicki wasn’t having any of that and got a new pancake.
Maree from Dunedin also chipped in about the time she found an entire cup handle in her savoury muffin!

To top it all off, Maree told us that the man not only didn’t replace her meal, but he wouldn’t take the rest of the muffins off the sale table!
The one that topped it all off though was from Regan’s mum who ordered a pizza from the hut and found a TOOTH in it.
If the chief is going to have a sneaky nibble, don’t leave your teeth at the scene of the crime!
