Friend of the show Jenny has one wish for this coming Mother's Day, that she can raise the funds that her 25 year old daughter Carlyn needs for her cancer treatment.
Carlyn's mum Jenny spoke with The Breakfast Club about her daughter's journey up to this point.
Read more about the treatment Carlyn needs below...
"Carlyn has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – a cancer she has courageously been fighting since the tender age of 14." the GiveALittle donation page reads.
"Over the years, multiple chemo treatments, radiation and a stem cell transplant have given short-term success, but the cancer keeps returning. With no public treatment options left, Carlyn’s only hope for a cure rests with a NZ Government-approved, but unfunded drug."
"This immune therapy treatment ($60,000) and care ($23,000), to be carried out at St George’s Hospital in Christchurch, cannot get underway until we have money in the bank."
