First it was the avo-latte, now this?
The art of coffee has taken a weirder turn as cafes and baristas try to release the next big trend. And if you thought you couldn't get any stranger than the avo-latte, wait till you are introduced to the "carrot-cino".
Like the avo-latte that poured coffee into the skin of an avocado, one Australian cafe in Sydney has poured coffee into a hollowed out carrot. Yes, it's coffee served inside of the root vegetable.
“We just like doing different things, we've being doing a few of these, one with an apple, one with an avocado, this week was a carrot and next week we will do something different,” cafe owner Vanja told Daily Mail Australia.
However, even she admits it's not a practical coffee-carrying vessel with the risk of leaking and small size.
“It would be very hard to drink out of because it doesn't hold coffee well,” she confessed.
