Buying presents for others can be quite a daunting task, especially if you don't know the person particularly well. But a new study has shown that in-laws seem to struggle with picking presents the most. According to the research from Vistaprint in the UK, you are most likely to open a present that is 'upsetting', 'offensive' or 'bewildering' when it comes from your in-laws.
On top of that, 13% of us fake excitement about a present after unwrapping and 5% of us admitted that their partner got their presents very wrong.
The study also found what people perceive to be the worst gifts you could receive.
