People who eat Marmite are less stressed and anxious

A new study out of Australia has found a link between yeast based products such as Marmite and a lowered level of stress and anxiety.

The study largely believes it comes down to the high amounts of vitamin b in the spread. Vitamin b does a lot for the part of our brain which controls our moods and helps to regulate our emotions.

“We know these extracts contain some of the world’s richest sources of B vitamins, which are essential in keeping our bodies energised and regulating the nervous system,” one of the researchers said.

The study believes that the effects of the vitamin b helps to make us more relaxed and less anxious.

So if Marmite is part of your morning routine, not only are you waking up your taste buds, but you also might be doing a heck of a lot of good for your brain.
