A mum has received a telling off from a school after she packed a lamington into her child’s lunchbox.
The Melbourne mum was sent a note, alongside her uneaten lamington, from the kindergarten for failing to ‘comply with the school's nutrition policy'.
“Please don’t send this item in your child’s lunch again,” the note said.
People spoke about their shock about the policy on social media.
'That's bad, Australia getting too PC!! It's a bloody lamington,' one person wrote on Twitter.
'Kindergarten needs to keep their noses out of kids lunch box! If the parent gives it to their child it's none of their business!' said another.
