A new type of reusable toilet paper known as 'family cloths' has left the internet horrified.
The wipes were invented as a more environmentally alternative to toilet paper, but people are seeing it as a step too far.
Online shopping site Etsy writes that each wipe "measures approximately 8x8 and is single ply (one layer of flannel). Serged edges give them a professional look and keep the flannel from fraying. The flannel is soft, absorbent and thick."
"Make the switch to cloth wipes and never throw away another wipe again! Just toss these in the wash with your cloth nappies and you're all set."
"These can also be used as hankies, wash cloths, napkins, makeup removing wipes and family cloth!"
Could you see yourself using shared toilet paper with your family? Or is it simply a step too far?
