You've probably heard the joke 'allergic to exercise' before, but a new study confirms that it's a real thing!
If you suffer from the condition you may find yourself with flushed skin, hives, swelling and nausea after exercising. It apparently it affects 50 out of 100,000 people.
The cause and treatment is still unknown, but it seems the allergy is becoming more and more common. They do however suspect that food may be part of the cause.
If you think you suffer from the allergy the best kind of exercise to do is swimming, the study claims the water helps soothe the symptons.
So next time you hear someone use the excuse 'I'm allergic to exercise', it might pay to check if they actually are!
