Teacher's 'brutal' note restricting student toilet breaks sparks backlash

A mum has shared an odd note her daughter received from her teaching restricting students to take toilet breaks.

The teacher has enforced a new rule in which students can only leave to go toilet 2 times a month.

"I understand that I need Mrs. White's signature for EVERY TIME I have to leave to go to the Bathroom, Nurse, speak with Admin or to get water." the note reads.

"I understand that once I have used my 2 passes for the ENTIRE month, I will not be able to go to the restroom, get water, or go to the nurse.

"I understand that only special accommodation will be made if my Doctor writes a note regarding a medical condition.

"I understand that failure to comply with the Bathroom/Water/Nurse Pass will result in an Automatic Detention and a zero on whatever assignment I decided to walk out on."

Oddly, the teacher finishes the note but acknowledging how ridiculous she's being.

"I understand that once I have used my 2 passes for the ENTIRE month, I will not be able to go to the restroom, get water, or go to the nurse."

Understandably, people have been quick to hit back the the teachers strict decision.

"Why become a teacher if you hate children this much? People can be mean!" one person wrote on Twitter.

The mum later shared an update from the school saying they don't condone the letter and are investigating the situation.
