Ginger Spice has revealed that we have been singing along to one of the most iconic Spice Girls songs for years not knowing we were singing the wrong words.

The revealtion comes just days after the Spice Girls announced their reunion tour, albeit without Posh Spice.

In the song 'Spice Up Your Life', released in 1997 and the groups fifth consecutive chart-topper, the girls sing about uniting and embracing differences with "people of the world".

In the song, they sing a lyric that features three different languages to really emphasise
the fact that they are singing an internationally inclusive song.

But many have never noticed the line at the end of the chorus. The lyrics is “Chicas to the front, hai si ja hold tight”.

The three words mean ‘yes’ in Japanese, Spanish, and German, respectively.

The mindblowing lyric was brought to light by Geri Halliwell when she posted about the Spice Girls Reunion Tour on her Instagram.

"@spicegirls -hai-Si-ja-hold tight #spicegirls #tour2019." she captioned the video.
