As much as we love our kids to death, sometimes we can feel a little underappreciated or just over doing the same things over and over again for them.
And while when they are little kids we often can sympathise, when they are teenagers and on the path to adulthood and we are still nagging at them for the same things everyday and pulling all of the weight around the house even though they are more than capable, sometimes it can be quite frustrating!
But one mum blogger, @thenewstepford has found a hilariously creative way to get passive aggressive with her teenagers.
Each morning the mum prepares her kids lunch and scribbles on the brown lunch bag little handwritten notes. She regularly shares the lunch bags on her Instagram and she’s quickly developed a cult following from it.
She told Australian news show, Today, that she started doing the "passive aggressive lunch bags" for her 14-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son so she could share her most raw thoughts on the daily business of parenting.
“It's imperative to have humour with your kids,” she said.
“We joke about everything — sex, drugs, politics, their bodies — I don't want them to think anything is taboo.” she continued to tell Today.
Whitney explained she was inspired to share pictures of the bags online after her daughter’s classmates started asking to see them daily.
