A recently engaged woman decided to enlist the help of her dog to announce the news to her friends and family.
But, the woman has learnt the hard way that working with animals - no matter how obedient you think they may be - doesn't always work out.
In a video shared online, the newly engaged fiancé can be seen sitting in front of two dogs as she tells one to sit in front of the camera to capture the photo.
She then gently places the ring gently on the dog's nose as it waits patiently while being told to 'stay' by its owner.
Unfortunately, a man's voice seemingly triggers the dog into thinking it's time to eat the treat balancing on its nose and within a split second it whips its head round to catch the huge rock in its mouth and chomps down.
The camera quickly pans to the floor as the owner panics and the video has gone viral after being shared to Reddit with the caption: "What could go wrong if I show off my new engagement ring?"
