One of the most recognisable Kid’s TV animations ‘Blue’s Clue’ is hitting the big screen.
Nickelodeon says it is making a new movie featuring stars of ‘Blues Clues & You!’ to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original show that was a mainstay of the network for several years.
The blue pup that we all know and love is hitting the Big Apple in ‘Blue's Big City Adventure’ and, he will definitely need some help along the way.
Do you see any familiar faces in the trailer?
We can see that all three of Blue's Clues hosts, Steve Burns, Joe (Donovan Patton), and Josh Dela Cruz appear in the new trailer for Blue's first feature-length movie.
Blue's Clues was hosted by Steve Burns from 1996 to 2002 during the first years of the show. Donovan Patton then took over as Joe (Steve’s fictional brother), after Steve left the show, and Joe continued hosting until the show was finally cancelled in 2006.
That was until the show was rebooted in 2019 as ‘Blue's Clues & You!’, starring Josh Dela Cruz as the third and current host.
With all three hosts making their appearance it is a great way to bring all the generations that grew up with Blue together for a massive celebration.
Of course, we know that things don’t always go to plan with Blue’s adventures and this film seems no different.
The trip looks like it takes a turn after Josh realises that he's forgotten his handy dandy notebook at home, while their animated household pals make the journey to track them down and return the notebook.
Blue's Big City Adventure is a sing and dance-along musical spectacular and we can’t wait to see it.
At the moment it will be available to stream on Paramount +, so we’re unsure of when and where we can get our hot little paws on it here in NZ, but we will make sure to keep you in the loop.
