An Aussie mum has gone viral on TikTok after posting a video showing her preschool doing something genuinely heartwarming.
They've been providing parents with gourmet breakfasts! Can you believe it?
Unwrapping the delicious treat on her TikTok, @ThePeninsulaMumma shows how after the morning drop-off, she left with a mouth-watering turkey, cranberry, rocket, and Swiss cheese bagel. Yum! I can almost taste it just thinking about it.
What touched my heart even more was the caption, “My daycare hands out food to parents so we can eat on the run! They get it”
Upon seeing the video, I couldn't help but feel a little envious of the thoughtful gesture. I mean, with childcare, the cost of living skyrocketing, and there simply not being enough hours in the day, a little support like this goes a long way. People were loving it in the comments too:
“wait they pay you with gourmet pastries when you leave your child there?”
“Okay I need to know which day are so I can move immediately”
She even followed the video up with a wrap of the month’s ‘haul’.
