A Mum on TikTok has caused outrage after posting a video of her child crawling around the house, in what appears to be a mop cover, attached to a baby onesie.

The US mum Lisa Flom titled the clip “When the baby needs to pull their weight”, which has triggered over 22 million views online.

In the video, the baby is dressed in an orange outfit with the mop cover on the arms, legs, and back. The parents then slide the baby around the floor with the child, appearing to have plenty of fun throughout the video.

Across the 5,000 comments, many shared their concerns. "Am I missing something? this isn't right?!"

While some questioned why you would spray anything on your child "Isn't that unsafe to spray chemicals on the baby?"

Aren't we supposed to mop the floor for the babies to play to protect them!

Despite the controversy, some comments did manage to see the lighter side of the situation "Can everyone relax she probably put the baby wash in a spray bottle with warm water"

While it seems like a great way to get the entire family cleaning the house, It doesn’t seem too effective.

It’s not the first time Lisa has posted a video of her child to TikTok,  with regular videos including ‘A feeding tube on her daughter's bed’ and Sticking Velcro to the baby clothes to ensure they don’t move on Airplanes reaching millions of views.
