Disney has released a teaser trailer for the sequel to Moana, which has given us a small snippet into her new adventure
The trailer opens up with a reveal of an older Moana.
"This is a call from the ancestors, to sail to new skies, and to reconnect our people across the entire ocean," Moana declares as she embarks on a new adventure.
This time the entire village and her family have got her back. As she waves goodbye to the village, her parents are holding a little girl, likely her younger sibling. However, some fans speculate that the child could be Moana's own.
Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui for a 'new voyage', and this time Pua (pig) joins them too. Hei Hei (rooster) is also a part of the crew!
Fans are excited to finally see more of Pua in this sequel.
"I really like how they acknowledged that Pua was left out of the first movie," one wrote.
"Pua finally getting his big role," another wrote.
"Why didn't you bring the pig last time??" THANK YOUU🤣🤣🤣🤣" a third wrote.
Disney has said "Three years since her first voyage, Moana is on an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui"
Moana 2 is set to release in the theatres on November 27.
